Forge Collective is for radical honesty. In today’s world with multiple troubled fronts, we have no time to be locked in divisiveness. We need to unleash our innate potential to trust ourselves and others for the common good. Our mission is to create a world where people maximize this potential.
What We Are
We are an open platform for constructing a Social Contract for the 21st century—one that benefits all people and the planet.
We produce projects that connect people from different social spheres in shared experiences that build long-lasting, meaningful networks using happiness and gratitude as our guiding principle. Our long-term vision is an open platform that is part union, guild, playgroup, and support network, with a job board, emergency cash fund, and direct services (childcare etc.) for creators.
Our artists function as facilitators rather than lone creators. We recognize the creative potential and the need to connect in everyone. We cultivate an environment where people feel safe and free to tap into their inner knowledge and share it with others, with artists as helping hands.
And by artists, we mean humans. All human beings are creative. Creativity is deeply ingrained in our DNA as an indispensable trait that has helped us thrive as a species.
To activate such potential in creators, we strive to build a social-economic environment that is conducive to the way we naturally work. Our current market system hinders creativity rather than encourages it. This is not only detrimental to creators, but an enormous waste of labor/innovation resources for society.
In building our collective, we actively search for a business model that secures the floor for the creators, builds incentives and stimulates intrinsic motivation, and maximizes rewards in emotional and social capital that keeps on growing.
While our message is universal and intuitive, our projects focus on local communities and tangible results. There are three categories in our activities:
